We live in a world we are told what or not to do and how to do it, but we are never told why. This education system is creating more and more human computers that are magnificent at doing the thing they have been tought, but, if you try to make them go out of their comfort place, they are lost. People don't know the feeling of discovering new things by failing, because they can't fail at the thing they have been preparing to do for the rest of their lifes.
Instead of that, we should be focusing on the talent of people, what some people are good at and what other people are good at, and try to let them investigate by themselves, not because they have to do it because they have been told so. This way, people would be way more independent, and will be more benefitial to the society itself, since they would actually improve and discover new things, contrary to what the current education system does.
Once they have been told how to investigate by themselves, the advances that have been made during the past century will actually be worth it. Nowadays, we are using technology just to make things happen faster, instead of using it as the tool it is. We could also, by failing and discovering new things, learn new ways to use this technology, but, since it is impossible for us to fail, we might never know how powerful and useful these things could be.
These new discoverings would be the ones that could make the difference within the economical world. Nowadays, a few little amount of people are actually discovering new things but, if everyone was tought how to do it, every single person in the world would be contributing to discover new things, what would make the money that was inverted on them in the past worth it, which would mean a huge increase in terms of economy.
To sum up, we live in an education system that, compared to other systems, is not creating as good individuals as they are and it's not being as worth as, in a financial way, it could be. As the society we are, we should try to change it, because in the end, education is the foundation of the human being, and, if we are able to have better humans in the world we live, why would we accept mediocre beings?
